Day 1: Arrival- Moshi Salinero

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, our representative will be ready to pick you up and accompany you to your booked hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may go for a short walk near the hotel to see the local people’s lives in the Moshi region or unwind at the hotel, preparing for the coming adventure.

Day 2: Lake Chala Activities– Lake Chala

After breakfast, join your driver guide who will be ready at the pick-up area, ready to start your tour. A journey to Lake Chala is not so far as it takes only one hour from Moshi town. You will pass some villages before entering the semi-arid area of Lake Chala.

The area is isolated to give you access to total privacy. After enjoying your Lunch at the central area overlooking the lake and relaxing for a while, you will join your resident guide for a walking safari to a nearby Kenya border, and later, you will take another way to the riverbank back to your lodge, where you can go canoeing or relax and wait for the dinner.

Day 3: Mambo View Point

Enjoy the fabulous sunrise from Lake Chala before breakfast; after that, you will start your journey to the highlands of the Usambara mountains, where the Mambo viewpoint is nestled. Three hours’ drive in the sharp corners of the high mountains will take you to the local villages where you will see the authentic local life and take some pictures.

It is one of the best lodges in Lushoto, found 1900m above sea level. Remember to pack your warm clothes as it gets chilly during the night.

Day 4: Activities Mambo View

While you are here, you will have a chance to engage in different social activities that will make you feel connected; a village walk will bring you closer to the villagers, where you can explore a lot of things concerning the Sambaa tribe and their lifestyle which is the ethnic group found in that area.

You can also try some local foods. During the evening, you will return to your lodge and enjoy the sunset and later some stories at the firepit after dinner.

Day 5: Kisasa waterfalls, Maghamba Forest, Sunset -Irente View

Depending on the day, wake up from the beautiful view of Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoy your breakfast before heading to the next village, where you can go for a town and nature walk at Maghumba Forest. The landscapes in that region will drop your jaws; hiking is gorgeous there.

Later you will go to Kisasa waterfalls where you will have your Lunch. Later, you will go to the Irente Viewpoint for sunset and evening coffee before getting to your nearby lodge, Irente View, for an overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Mkomazi

On the 6th day if your 8 Days Best Views – Swahili Life and Wildlife Tour , A beautiful day with a beautiful view from Irente will be a beacon of wanderlust adventure to your soul. After breakfast, you can enjoy your last bird’s-eye view from Irente. Since it is a private tour, you can buy time for lunch and then depart to Mkomazi Wildlife Lodge.

However, an expert recommendation is that you may start descending the mountains and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lush vegetation until Mombo highway, where you can sit and order fresh BBQ for your Lunch before proceeding to your lodge overnight.

Day 7: Mkomazi -Salinero

Tanzania is full of wildlife stop centers, and Mkomazi National Park is one of them. Mkomazi is found in the semi-desert region and boasts diverse wildlife spots. The park receives fewer visitors than the crowded Serengeti and Ngorongoro, but the game viewing is magnificent. Mkomazi is a home to endangered Black rhinos and wild dogs. Enjoy your bush lunch and later return to your first-day accommodation in Moshi.

Day 8: Departure
