Serengeti National Park Entry Fees for Foreigners 2024 -2025-2026 : Serengeti National Park is a popular Tanzania safari destination in Africa; thus, knowing and understanding how much a trip to Serengeti costs is essential. This park is located in Tanzania, about 360 kilometers (220 miles) from Arusha town.
Serengeti entry fees/ Serengeti National Park fees are released after a certain period by the Tanzania National Park Authority (TANAPA), the board responsible for supervising all National Parks in Tanzania.
The fees are released to the public so travelers and tour operators can use them to plan their Safari to Tanzania and Serengeti without complications. The present entry fees to Serengeti were set out to the public on 1st July 2022 and shall be used until further notice.
The fees are categorized into two tourism seasons, high (peak) and low (green); peak season starts from 16th May to 14th March, while low season rates apply from 15th March to 15th May.
Anyone visiting Serengeti must pay the park fees, which are non-negotiable and, once paid, are non-refundable in any way.
How to pay Serengeti entry fees 2024-2025?
Administratively, the park fees of Serengeti National Park are paid per person per day, and it only last for 24 hours if sleeping inside the National park and 12 hours if you’re doing a day tour. The logistic of paying is handled by tour operators which should be done few days in advance before visiting the park, you can pay at the entrance gate but keep in mind that due to this place being very remote you may face some challenges with network signals which delays the safari, believe me you will not enter the park without paying the fees and no window of paying after visiting, we then recommend to get everything settled before approaching the entrance gate of Serengeti.
Please remember the most convenient method of paying the Serengeti entry fee for 2024-2025 is by bank method where a tour operators generates the entry permit document from their reservation system which created by Tanzania National Park Authority for every licensed safari tour operator in Tanzania.

Extra charges exist for travelers who decide to overnight inside the Serengeti Park Tanzania; everyone should pay an “Overnight fee,” sometimes referred to as a concession fee. These fees are used to conserve the park and the surrounding ecosystem. The above Serengeti entrance fees are only for a game drive inside the park, if you want to engage on different activities like Serengeti hot-air balloon safari then extra fees are applicable, balloon safari in Serengeti cost 550$ per person for adults also walking safari is something very extraordinary allows you to explore nature on foot on the walks you may encounter animals such a zebras, giraffes, elephants and other birds like ostriches.

To reach Serengeti National Park, any traveler must cross via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is under the management of Ngorongoro and is known as NCAA. Each traveler will be required to pay 71$ for adults and 24$ per child aged between 5-15 years old; there’s no option to skip this fee because you will be inspected at each entry point you pass.
