Africa’s biggest ecosystem, the Serengeti National Park, boasts unparalleled natural treasures, including grassland, wetlands, tiny plateaus, and kopjes that serve as havens for lions and cheetahs. The Serengeti’s wildlife is at its peak all year round. Nevertheless, our East Africa Safari Guides staff will make recommendations based on the months you visit to make sure you take advantage of everything the Serengeti has to offer. The park has brief rains in November and December, which coincides with the wildebeest migration’s movement south to the Serengeti/Ndutu region. There’s a lot of rain from April to the beginning of June. Following the Grumeti and Mbalageti rivers, herds migrate to the Western Serengeti National Park, where they then disperse throughout the plains of Singita Game Reserve. From July through October, this circle follows the same route. Looks like all the herds are in the northern Serengeti, where people go to witness the enchanted river crossing. However, a visitor needs stay in the northern region for at least two nights in order to observe the river crossing.
For the following two nights, you will spend your time at Tanzania Bush Camps located in the center Serengeti.
