Day 1. Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Hotels are picked up by your professional safari guide and drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival at the entrance gate and finishing all the formalities, you will dive into the game drive around the park, looking for the animals.
Tarangire is the sixth largest National Park in Tanzania, where millions of animals live; this park got its name from the famous Exotic Tarangire River, which supports the life of the fauna and flora in the park.
The southern part of the park, Silalei Swamp, which acts as a sponge because of its behavior of absolving water during the rainy season and extracting during the dry, is the best place to go and see the wildlife that inhabits this area.
In the park, you can find animals like Lions, zebras, leopards, more than 300 Elephants at once, and many seasonal and migratory birds.
Lunch will be in the bush.
After a day of wildlife safari viewing in Tarangire, you will head to Twiga Campsite, where you will overnight.
DAY 2. Lake Manyara National Park
It is less popular yet provides an authentic safari experience. This park should be on any safari itinerary in northern Tanzania. You may likely witness herds of buffaloes grazing together in the bright early light, or you will pass hyenas, leopards, or lions returning home with the last of the night’s prey.
You will witness the hyenas weeping beneath the acacia tree as they attempt to capture a remaining impala –kill that has been hung.
The park is semi-evergreen year-round due to subterranean water; morning is the optimum time to go on a game drive when the animals are most active. As they camp closer to the front gate, the baboon armies are the ones that greet guests at the park.
The park is situated in the middle of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara.
The neighborhood that surrounds the park benefits from the water as much as the animals, since they utilize it for fishing and irrigation.
As night falls, we will resume our journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late night hours.
