Around 7 a.m., our East Africa Safari Guide will meet and greet you. He/she will explain the schedule of the day ahead. After that, you will start a long drive from Arusha heading to Serengeti National Park; this will be a 7-hour drive, but worry not because anything you meet on the way is an adventure; we will be passing on the Maasai Village on the way to Serengeti, you will see young boys along the way looking after herds of cows, goats, sheep, donkeys, and camel.
Wild animals like giraffes, zebras, elephants, and baboons are often spotted on the way because you will be passing on game-reserved areas. This all brings such thrilling enjoyment.
For you to reach Serengeti, we will have to drive through a Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is another unique experience that will stay with you forever; the landscapes, weather, and people you see on the road will be just amazing; the only place on Earth where human beings share an ecosystem with wild animals is Ngorongoro Conservation Area, so you will notice that Maasai’s cows are grazing together with Zebras, Wildebeests, and Giraffes.
Later in the afternoon, you will finally arrive at Serengeti National Park. You will be amazed how the endless plain is attractive and attracts a sense of adventure. Serengeti-Mara ecosystem is the only area on Earth where you will find many wild animals. Kopjes such as Masai Kopjes and Moru Kopje in central Serengeti National Park are the shelters for big cats like Lions and Cheetahs. You will likely see them daily; however, it is only guaranteed if wild animals are mobile.
You will have lunch and mineral drinking water on the way, so you’re sure to energize your bodies.
Upon arrival in Serengeti, together with your private Safari guide, you can decide if you will embark on a short evening game drive or you will head straight to your tented camp or lodge for relaxation, waiting for a new, fresh day. Remember, the evening hours are the best time to do a game drive since animals are more active than noon hours.
You will stay at Tanzania Serengeti Bush Camps / Similar for three adventure nights.
At this tented camp, dinners, breakfasts, and lunches will be offered; it’s located in a very wildlife-premium area; you might see elephants or zebras by your tents browsing and grazing.
DAY 2-3. SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK & GAME VIEWING.
These two days are dedicated to a wildlife game viewing with your safari guide. If you’re visiting between June and October, our Tanzania Specialist team will arrange two nights in the Northern Serengeti since it is the best time for witnessing the Serengeti Wildebeest Migration; if you’re planning to travel between December and Mid-March two nights will be located in Southern Serengeti/Ndutu ecosystem region because it is the best time to see the calving season.
Each day, you will participate in an unlimited game drive; at East Africa Safari Tour Company, we offer unlimited mileage for our clients, though it is very possible to plan with your safari guide how you need the game drives to be conducted, either two game drives in a day (Morning and Evening game drives) or do a full day animal viewing with a packed lunch to eat in the bush.
